About Move Welfare Organization

MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country.

The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies.                         
 MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

Job Description

  • Management of the P4P program, including planning, implementation, follow-up, analysis, evaluation, and adoption of corrective measures, and health services according to relevant guidelines and indicators.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the supply of health services, accurate registration, collection, trustworthiness of figures, and accurate reporting of branches and health centers.
  • Responsible for the analysis of P4P activities, the collection of their revenues, and the payment of salaries based on them for the employees of the health center, controlling and matching the balance of the revenues and payments of the health center.
  • Preparing and complying with the PIP (Project Implementation Plan) of the health center and its branches at the right time and taking appropriate and timely corrective measures.
  • Strict compliance with the rules established in the hospital.
  • Responsible for entering surgery and dividing the duties of employees, their supervision, and control.
  • Ensuring the supply of health services according to national standards in surgical departments and providing IEC in all surgical departments.
  • Providing correct and continuous diagnosis, treatment, and care of surgical patients and regulating their care.
  • Responsible for accurate follow-up from the register and treatment follow-up, information collection, and unification of HMIS monthly reports of the department.
  • Following pre-operative procedures and maintaining sepsis and anti-sepsis protocols.
  • Establishing a correct return system for surgical and other events that require return.
  • Immediate identification and reporting of any problem that hinders the achievement of program goals.
  • Participating in the design and implementation of training during the execution of duties for hospital employees.
  • Regular and daily monitoring of the work of the relevant incoming employees.
  • Supervision of the proper filling of registers, medical documents, and files of patients admitted to surgery.
  • Timely solution of problems in medical matters, including surgery.
  • Active participation in coordinating affairs and raising the quality of health services at the hospital level.
  • Advance and adjust reports and schedule meetings with surgical personnel to improve skills.
  • Creating an atmosphere of intimacy, trust, mutual respect, and discipline between personnel. Good treatment of patients and mutual respect among colleagues.
  • Arranging educational programs in cooperation with the training department.
  • Obedience to superior orders and related orders in the performance of any type of official duties employed.
 

Job Requirements

Surgery specialist, ability in Dari, Pashto and working knowledge in English.
